Corn is one of the main
crops in the world, and the main raw material for producing
starch. Aside from cornstarch, the by-products include
12.5% corn fiber, 5.5% protein powder, 12% corn slurry
and 6% corn germ (2.5% corn oil). In addition, the cornstarch
can be further processed to manufacture dextrin, modified
starch, starch syrup, alcohol, lactic acid and monosodium
glutamate, etc.
Wet grinding and water-circling technologies, which are
advanced and reliable, are used in the processing. The
starch produced shows the features of less impurities
and higher quality, which is used as important raw material
in the fields of foodstuffs, medicine, textiles, chemicals,
and so on
